To be explosive and successful, you need to be fast, strong, and powerful. Most of the time, athletes develop these qualities during in-season training, but then fail to maintain them over the summer or in the off season.

This program is suited for sprinters, jumpers, and team sports players only needing to be explosive up to 30 to 60 metres. You can also use this program as a part of your acceleration or speed development days as a sprint workout.
Also with this program, you will need small cones to measure running distance as well as a running sled to use on the grass or track along with weights. The weights are needed to apply to the sled. You can purchase a harness that goes over the shoulder or around the waist. Most harness comes with the purchase of a running sled.
