This training is for athletes who have graduated from high school and either entering university or out of school of school and working in the workforce who have the ability to attend training in the evening. Experience is not necessary but must have had some experience running track. We work on all aspects of speed development, technique, speed endurance, core strength, endurance, and interval training. You must have the ability to obtain a gym membership or work with us on a strength program as senior athletes do require some hypertrophy strength program. Pool training is also optional as well.
Most athletes on this level train up to 5-6 sessions per week. Training normally, starts from 6.30pm onwards and goes for at least 1.5 hours. Training commence with a warmup so, we always ask athletes to get to this session at least 5-10 minutes before it starts so, you're able to experience the most out of your sessions. Most athletes have the option of training 3-6 days per week.
