This training is for teens aged 13 years and under who has had previous experience in our Pre-Junior program or who's has had experience in the past with another Athletics Coach. Program prepares athletes for Senior level athletics which the next level up from Little Athletics. We work on all aspects of acceleration, speed development, technique, speed & power, core strength, and flexibility. We work on the development of a long jump from short takeoffs, to long jump tech drills and speed on the runway. Triple Jumpers we work on all 3 phases and drills to help improve all of those phases as well as their technique.
Most at this level a programmed for meets such as All Schools State Championships, NSW State Junior Championships, and Junior National Championships
Most athletes on this level train up to 3-4 sessions per week. Training normally, starts from 5.00pm onwards and goes for at least 2 hours. Training commence with a warmup so, we always ask athletes to get to this session at least 5-10 minutes before it starts so, you're able to experience the most out of your sessions.
Training goes for 12 weeks and you have the option of training 1 day each week or 2-4 days each week.
